"We had an unclear idea of inventory opportunities," Edgar explains. "Our previous efforts, which included using Excel Macros and Dashboards for analysis, were effective to a certain degree but they wouldn’t help us push further on actual opportunities."

He encourages businesses to embrace modern tools and technologies to overcome common challenges and achieve better outcomes. "Give new technologies a shot. In most cases, they already perform the job we are expecting them to perform," he suggests. "Be open to new processes, reports, dashboards, methods, etc. You might find a much better, faster, and cleaner way to complete day-to-day tasks."
